Optional Constraint Parameters

All constraints use AND logic.

Date
Setting the year, month and day are optional. To retrieve all dates, leave these fields blank.
Note: All dates in the database are in Coordindated Universal Time (UTC).

Mw Magnitude
Setting the magnitude range is optional. To retrieve all earthquakes leave these fields blank.

Depth
Setting the depth range is optional. To retrieve all depths leave these fields blank.
Depth is measured in kilometers.

Location
Setting the location area is optional. To search the entire world leave these fields blank.
The latitude and longitude pairs define the area for the search.
The coordinates are in decimal degrees.
North latitudes and east longitudes are input as positive values.
South latitudes and west longitudes are input as negative values.
